Sangeet at Britton Manor

We so enjoyed supporting Hari and Shreeya for their multi-day celebration at Britton Manor as an NC Indian Wedding Planner. The Indian wedding weekend opened with a colorful welcome party and Sangeet on the front lawn of Britton Manor. Guests gathered under a clear top tent and we brought in bright garden party colors. Pops of fuchsia, turquoise, and green added playful energy throughout the tent. As guests moved between dance performances and conversation, the crystal chandeliers and bold florals created a lively setting. To make the night even more delicious, guested enjoyed a mocktail bar. A chilled mango lassi and other classic South Asian beverages were served alongside an authentic Indian cuisine.

Indian Wedding Ceremony

The Indian wedding ceremony was designed under a beautiful sail cloth tent positioned on the back lawn of Britton Manor. The tent created a soft, airy setting that felt open while still providing a warm and cozy atmosphere for the couple and their families – some of which travelled from across the globe to attend!

The family selected an orange color palette for their attire, which brought warmth and vibrancy to the ceremony. At the center of the tent, a lush green and white mandap served as the focal point. The structure was filled with layered greenery, full white blooms, and intentional texture that created a dramatic yet elegant backdrop for the vows. The clean design of the mandap allowed the couple’s traditions and emotions to take center stage while still feeling elevated and timeless.

With the sail cloth tent filtering natural light and the bold family colors contrasting with the fresh florals, the entire ceremony felt grounded in culture and rich with meaning. Indian Wedding Reception

On Saturday evening, guests were invited to front steps of Britton Manor for a lively cocktail hour. As an NC Indian Wedding Planner, we helped curate a setting that highlighted the estate’s grandeur and architecture. Authentic appetizers were passed, giving guests a taste of traditional flavors while they mingled and sipped cocktails.

As evening fell, the celebration continued under a clear top tent, where dinner and dancing brought the weekend to life. The tent allowed the beauty of the North Carolina night sky to shine through while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere with tent heaters. Tables were set with thoughtful details and soft textural florals, keeping the joyful palette consistent with the earlier celebrations. DJ Illest, an iconic DJ, drummer, and beatboxer out of Chicago, brought down the house with an unstoppable dance party to end the night.

Music, laughter, and heartfelt toasts carried late into the night, creating an unforgettable event.
